Crowded House
Melbourne-formed group
Crowded House is a rock band formed in Melbourne in 1985, fronted by New Zealand singer-songwriter Neil Finn.
Known for melodic, emotionally resonant songs like "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Weather with You," the band achieved international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The name reportedly came from the cramped Los Angeles house where members lived while recording their debut album.
