George IV
George IV was King of the United Kingdom from 1820 to 1830, having served as Prince Regent during his father George III's mental incapacity.
His regency period (1811–1820) lent its name to the Regency era, known for distinctive architecture, fashion, and literature.
He was notorious for extravagance, failed marriages, and unpopularity, though he patronized the arts and oversaw the construction of the Royal Pavilion at Brighton.
