Fallingwater
Streamside architectural icon
Fallingwater is a house in southwestern Pennsylvania designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, built over a waterfall in 1935.
The structure became iconic for its cantilevered terraces extending over Bear Run creek, exemplifying Wright's philosophy of organic architecture—buildings integrated with their natural surroundings.
Now a museum and National Historic Landmark.
