FM tuner

Frequency modulation receiver

An FM tuner is a device or component that receives FM (frequency modulation) radio signals.

It may be a standalone unit or part of a stereo receiver, car radio, or other audio equipment.

The tuner selects specific frequencies from the FM band, typically 88–108 MHz, allowing listeners to pick up broadcast stations: The old FM tuner still pulls in the college station clearly.
