FM receiver

Analog radio device

An FM receiver is a device that picks up radio signals transmitted via frequency modulation—the FM band, typically 88 to 108 MHz.

Most commonly found in car stereos, clock radios, and portable devices: The FM receiver in my old boombox still works perfectly.

Distinguished from AM receivers, which use amplitude modulation and pick up different frequencies.
