East Prussia

Baltic German region

East Prussia was a historical German province on the Baltic Sea, separated from the rest of Germany by the Polish Corridor after World War I.

Once the heartland of the Prussian state, it was divided between Poland and the Soviet Union after World War II, with its German population expelled.

The Soviet portion is now Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast.
