Königsberg
Kant's lifelong home
Königsberg is the former German name for the city now called Kaliningrad, a Russian exclave on the Baltic Sea.
The city is famous in mathematics for the Seven Bridges of Königsberg problem, which Euler solved in 1736, founding graph theory.
Immanuel Kant spent his entire life there.
The city was renamed after Soviet annexation following World War II.
