Dragon Ball Z
Anime fighting sequel
Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series that aired from 1989 to 1996, continuing the story of Dragon Ball.
It follows the Saiyan warrior Goku and his allies defending Earth against increasingly powerful enemies.
The series popularized anime in the West and is known for extended fight sequences, dramatic power-ups, and characters screaming while charging energy attacks.
Its influence pervades internet culture: going Super Saiyan means reaching peak intensity, and over 9000 became a meme for absurdly high quantities.
