Dorsey
Big band brothers
Dorsey is a surname of Irish origin, most recognizable today from Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and Square.
In mid-twentieth-century America, the name evoked the Dorsey Brothers—Tommy and Jimmy—whose big bands dominated swing era jazz: Have you heard the Dorsey orchestra?
