Dagenham

Essex borough neighborhood

Dagenham is a district in east London, part of the borough of Barking and Dagenham.

It developed rapidly in the early twentieth century with large public housing estates and became strongly associated with the Ford motor plant that operated there from 1931 to 2002.

He grew up in Dagenham.

The phrase two stops past Barking plays on the adjacent station name to suggest someone is mad.
