Cronkite

Walter Cronkite was an American broadcast journalist who anchored the CBS Evening News from 1962 to 1981, often called "the most trusted man in America." His sign-off—And that's the way it is—became iconic.

The name sometimes appears as shorthand for authoritative, trustworthy journalism: We need a Cronkite for this generation.
