Constellation

Named star group

A constellation is a group of stars forming a recognizable pattern in the night sky, often named for mythological figures or animals: Orion, the Big Dipper, Scorpio.

The term extends to any cluster of related things: a constellation of symptoms, a constellation of factors.

In astrology, constellations define the zodiac signs.
