CompUSA

Defunct tech store

CompUSA was a chain of retail electronics and computer stores that operated primarily in the United States from 1984 until its decline in the late 2000s.

The stores sold computers, software, and accessories, and offered technical services.

The name combined "computer" with "USA." Once a major destination for tech purchases, CompUSA became largely obsolete as online retailers dominated the market.
