Colin Powell

Colin Powell was an American military and political figure who served as the first Black U.S.

Secretary of State (2001–2005) and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

His 2003 United Nations presentation arguing for the Iraq War, later revealed to rest on faulty intelligence, became a defining—and for Powell, regrettable—moment of his legacy.
