Charles VII
Charles VII was King of France from 1422 to 1461, known as "the Victorious" for reclaiming French territory from England during the Hundred Years' War.
His reign was transformed by Joan of Arc, who helped lift the siege of Orléans and escorted him to his coronation at Reims.
He later allowed Joan to be captured and executed but went on to drive the English from nearly all of France.
