Celtic myths
Gaelic traditional tales
Celtic myths are the traditional stories of the ancient Celtic peoples of Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Brittany, and other regions.
These tales feature gods, heroes, and supernatural beings—the Tuatha Dé Danann, Cú Chulainn, the Morrigan—and themes of otherworldly realms, shape-shifting, and fate.
Much was preserved through medieval Irish and Welsh manuscripts after oral tradition faded.
