Tír na nÓg

Land of youth

Tír na nÓg is the land of eternal youth in Irish mythology—a paradise beyond the sea where inhabitants never age, sicken, or die.

The name is Irish Gaelic for "Land of the Young." It appears in tales of mortals lured there by fairy women, only to crumble to dust if they return and touch Irish soil.

The phrase evokes any idealized realm of perpetual youth or timeless beauty.
