Book of Ezekiel
Old Testament prophecy
The Book of Ezekiel is a prophetic text in the Hebrew Bible and Christian Old Testament, attributed to the priest Ezekiel during the Babylonian exile in the 6th century BCE.
The book contains elaborate visions—the famous "wheel within a wheel," the valley of dry bones, and a restored temple—along with oracles against Israel's enemies.
Ezekiel's strange imagery and apocalyptic themes have influenced later mystical and prophetic traditions.
