Big Horn

Wild Rocky climber

Big Horn refers to a river in Wyoming and Montana, flowing north to join the Yellowstone River, or to the mountain range it passes through.

The Battle of the Little Bighorn (1876), where Lakota and Cheyenne forces defeated Custer's cavalry, took place along the river's tributary.

We rafted through Big Horn Canyon. (Lowercase bighorn is the wild sheep.)
