yokefellow
One sharing burdens
A yokefellow is a close companion or partner, especially one who shares labor or a common purpose.
The image is of two animals yoked together to pull a load.
The word appears in older texts, particularly religious ones, for spiritual partners or fellow workers: Paul called them his yokefellows in Christ.
Now rare outside biblical contexts.
