wrist shot
Snap from forearm
A wrist shot is a hockey shooting technique where the puck is propelled primarily by a quick snap of the wrists rather than a full swing of the stick.
It sacrifices some power for speed and accuracy, making it effective for quick releases in tight spaces: He beat the goalie with a wrist shot from the slot.
