worthiness
State of deserving
Worthiness is the quality of deserving something—respect, reward, consideration, or a particular status.
It implies meeting some standard of merit or value: She questioned her own worthiness for the promotion.
The word often appears in contexts of moral or spiritual judgment: proving one's worthiness.
Unworthiness is its opposite.
