on-premises

Locally installed software

On-premises describes software, hardware, or infrastructure housed physically at a company's own location rather than hosted remotely by a third party.

The term emerged to distinguish traditional installations from cloud-based services: We're migrating from on-premises servers to AWS.

Often shortened to on-prem in technical contexts.

Also spelled on-premise, though grammatically premises is correct.
