will call

Ticket holding service

Will call is a system where purchased items—usually tickets—are held at a venue or store for the buyer to pick up in person.

The term comes from the idea that the customer will call for (retrieve) the goods: I left the tickets at will call under your name.

Will-call windows are common at theaters, stadiums, and concert halls.
