curbside delivery
Car-collected purchases
Curbside delivery is a service where goods are brought directly to a customer's vehicle parked outside a store or restaurant, eliminating the need to go inside.
The practice surged during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to minimize contact: Order online and choose curbside delivery.
Also called curbside pickup when the customer retrieves rather than receives.
