werepanther
Moon-triggered cat transformation
A werepanther is a mythical creature that shifts between human and panther form, modeled on the werewolf.
The concept appears primarily in fantasy fiction, horror, and urban fantasy genres: The werepanther stalked through the bayou under the full moon.
Like other were-creatures, the transformation is often tied to lunar cycles or emotional triggers.
