water lines
Underground supply pipes
Water lines are pipes that carry water, typically the network supplying a building or running beneath streets: The city is replacing old water lines.
A water line is also the level where water meets a surface—the mark on a ship's hull showing how deep it sits, or the high-water mark left on walls after flooding.
