vedanta

End of knowledge

Vedanta is one of the six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy, centered on the teachings of the Upanishads and concerned with the nature of ultimate reality (Brahman) and its relationship to the individual soul.

The term means "end of the Vedas," referring both to the Upanishads' position as concluding texts and to their status as the culmination of Vedic thought.

She studied Vedanta with a teacher in Rishikesh.
