upline

Your MLM recruiter

In multi-level marketing, your upline is the chain of distributors above you—the person who recruited you, the person who recruited them, and so on up the hierarchy.

These are the people who earn commissions from your sales.

The opposite is downline.

My upline keeps pressuring me to recruit more sellers.
