unshuffle
Return to order
To unshuffle is to restore something to its original order after it has been shuffled or mixed up.
The word appears most often in card games or music playlists, where items have been randomized: I unshuffled the deck to find my marked card, unshuffle the playlist to hear the album in sequence.
The action reverses randomization, returning things to a prior arrangement.
