unacclimatised
Still adjusting physically
Unacclimatised is the British spelling of unacclimated, describing someone or something not yet adjusted to new conditions, especially climate, altitude, or environment.
Travellers who are unacclimatised to high elevations may experience altitude sickness.
The unacclimatised hikers struggled in the thin mountain air.
The term applies beyond weather to any situation where gradual adjustment is needed but hasn't occurred.
