A tube ride is a surfing maneuver where a rider travels inside the curling hollow of a breaking wave—the "tube" or "barrel" formed as the wave's lip pitches forward.

Getting tubed is considered one of surfing's peak experiences: He pulled into a perfect tube ride at Pipeline.

The term also applies to riding inflatable tubes towed behind boats or pulled down water slides.
