truck pull
Strength sport spectacle
A truck pull is a motorsport competition where modified pickup trucks or semi-trucks pull a weighted sled down a track, with the sled's resistance increasing as it moves forward.
The winner is whoever pulls the sled the farthest distance.
Truck pulls are popular at county fairs and agricultural events across rural America: We're going to the truck pull Saturday night.
