Shotgun target sport
Trapshooting is a sport in which shooters fire at clay discs launched into the air from a spring device called a trap.
The discs, called clay pigeons, simulate the flight of birds.
Competitors shoot in turn from stations arranged in an arc behind the trap house: She took up trapshooting after retiring from competitive rifle shooting.
