tradeline
Reported credit account
A tradeline is a credit account appearing on a credit report—credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, and similar accounts that creditors report to credit bureaus.
Each tradeline shows the account's history: payment record, balance, credit limit, and status.
The term appears most often in discussions of credit repair, where people sometimes pay to be added as authorized users on others' accounts to improve their credit scores: She added two tradelines to boost her score before applying for a mortgage.
