tent pitching
Erecting temporary shelter
Tent pitching is the act of setting up a tent—unfolding it, staking it down, and securing the poles: We spent an hour tent pitching before the storm rolled in.
The phrase also serves as slang for an involuntary erection visible through clothing, from the shape fabric takes when pushed outward.
