flashlight tag
Beam-based hiding game
Flashlight tag is a children's game played after dark, combining elements of tag and hide-and-seek.
The person who is "it" carries a flashlight and tags other players by shining the beam on them rather than touching them: We played flashlight tag in the backyard until our parents called us in.
The game works best in areas with places to hide—yards, parks, or wooded areas.
