telemovie
Made-for-television film
A telemovie is a film produced specifically for television broadcast rather than theatrical release.
The term is more common in British and Australian English than American, where "TV movie" or "made-for-TV movie" predominates.
Telemovies typically have lower budgets than theatrical films and often premiere on a single network: The telemovie aired on Sunday night.
