sunbake
Cook in sunshine
To sunbake is to bask in the sun, especially to tan.
The word is chiefly Australian and New Zealand usage, where it replaces the American sunbathe: We spent the afternoon sunbaking on the beach.
A sunbaked surface has been dried and hardened by prolonged exposure to the sun: sunbaked clay, sunbaked earth.
