Frozen screen dots
Stuck pixels are individual points on a display screen that fail to change color properly, remaining fixed on one color regardless of what image is being shown.
Unlike dead pixels, which stay permanently black, stuck pixels typically glow a constant red, green, or blue.
They result from transistor malfunction in LCD or LED screens: I've got a stuck pixel in the corner of my monitor that's driving me crazy.
