storm troops
Elite assault infantry
Storm troops are elite military units trained for aggressive, rapid assault operations—shock troops who lead attacks and break through enemy lines.
The term is most associated with the Nazi Sturmabteilung (SA), the paramilitary "Brownshirts" who enforced party power through intimidation and violence in 1920s–30s Germany.
By extension, storm troopers can describe any aggressive enforcers: The company sent in storm troops to restructure the failing division.
