stock art
Predesigned image library
Stock art is pre-made images, illustrations, or graphics available for licensing and use in various projects.
Designers, advertisers, and publishers use stock art when custom artwork isn't feasible or necessary: We grabbed some stock art for the brochure.
The term often carries connotations of generic or uninspired visuals—calling something "stock art" can be dismissive.
