stag films
Illicit erotic cinema
Stag films are pornographic movies, especially the short silent films circulated privately among men from the early 1900s through the 1960s.
The name comes from stag parties—all-male gatherings where such films were shown.
The term now sounds dated, largely replaced by "porn" or "adult films."
