adults only
Not for children
Adults only marks content, venues, or products restricted to people above a legal age threshold—typically 18 or 21.
The phrase signals sexual content, graphic violence, gambling, or alcohol: an adults-only resort, rated adults only for explicit scenes.
It functions as both a warning and a marketing tool, sometimes adding allure through exclusivity.
