Self-closing door mechanism
A spring lock is a lock that fastens automatically when a door closes, using a spring-loaded bolt that retracts when the door is pushed or pulled and snaps back into place on its own.
The mechanism allows easy exit but requires a key to reenter: I locked myself out when the spring lock caught behind me.
