speaker box
Audio driver housing
A speaker box is an enclosure housing one or more loudspeakers, designed to enhance sound quality and bass response.
The term appears frequently in car audio culture, where custom speaker boxes in trunks deliver powerful bass: We installed a new speaker box in the back of his truck.
