sours
Turns bad, acidic
Sours is a category of cocktails built on a base spirit, citrus juice, and sweetener.
The classic formula balances sharp and sweet: whiskey sour, amaretto sour, pisco sour.
The name comes from the prominent tartness of lemon or lime juice.
In brewing, sours are beers deliberately fermented to achieve acidic, tart flavors: I've really gotten into sours lately.
