slamdancer
Mosh pit participant
A slamdancer is someone who engages in slam dancing—the aggressive, full-contact style of dancing at punk and hardcore shows where participants deliberately collide with each other in a mosh pit.
The term emerged with punk rock in the late 1970s: The slamdancers formed a chaotic circle near the stage.
