skycar
Airborne personal vehicle
A skycar is a small personal aircraft designed for everyday transportation, typically envisioned as a flying car or air taxi that could take off and land vertically.
The term appears mostly in futuristic speculation and prototype announcements: The company promised skycars would be available by 2030.
Despite decades of development, practical skycars remain largely in the concept stage.
