Ability level measure
A skill rating is a numerical or ranked measure of someone's ability in a competitive activity, especially video games and sports.
These ratings typically adjust based on performance—rising with wins, falling with losses—and are used to match players of similar ability: My skill rating dropped after losing three games in a row.
Also called MMR (matchmaking rating) or Elo in various systems.
